All-In miND Counselling

All-In miND Counselling is a compassionate and collaborative practice supporting youth, student-athlete's, and young adults navigating stress, anxiety, performance pressure, academic expectations, and personal challenges.

Today’s young people are balancing more than ever, on the field, in the classroom, and in their everyday lives. This practice was built to meet them where they are, offering flexible virtual counselling alongside opportunities for in-person workshops when needed.

The goal is simple: to provide accessible, relevant support that helps young people build confidence, resilience, emotional regulation, and healthy coping skills, both on and off the court or field.

What "miND" Means

The capitalized “ND” in miND is intentional. It represents growth, neurodevelopment, and the moment a young person begins to step into their own strength.

It reflects the belief that change starts in the mind, and that resilience, confidence, and self-trust are something that can be built over time.

Kandis Sampson

I am the founder of All-In miND Counselling.

I bring together counselling, school-based experience, coaching, and lived experience as a parent to support youth and student-athletes in a way that feels practical, relatable, and grounded in real life.

Outside of my work, I value time spent in movement, connection, and quiet moments that allow space to reset. These are the same principles I bring into my counselling work, helping others find balance, clarity, and confidence in their own lives.

Experience & Approach

I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor Candidate (RTCc) and a member of the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada, working with youth, student-athletes, and young adults.

My approach brings together counselling training, school-based experience, coaching, and lived experience as a parent to support young people navigating the pressures of sport, school, and everyday life.

With over ten years of experience working in schools as an Educational Assistant, I have supported students facing stress, social-emotional challenges, and diverse learning needs, giving me a strong understanding of the day-to-day pressures youth face.

I have also spent many years involved in youth sports as both a coach and sports commissioner, and I am currently an NCCP-certified basketball coach. As a parent of a child involved in elite athletics, I understand firsthand the commitment, pressure, and identity challenges that can come with competitive sport.

In counselling sessions, I focus on helping youth and young adults build confidence, manage pressure, and develop the mental skills needed to succeed both in sport and in life.

My work integrates evidence-based approaches such as CBT, SFBT, DBT, Logotherapy, and Motivational Interviewing, and is informed by principles of Self-Determination Theory, allowing me to meet clients where they are and support their individual needs.

Why This Work Matters

This is your sub-headline

Through my experience in schools, sport, and as a parent of an athlete, I’ve seen firsthand how much mental and emotional support young people need, and how often it’s missing.

I understand both sides: what youth are experiencing, and what families are navigating alongside them. This perspective shapes how I support not just individuals, but the environments around them.

As All-In miND Counselling grows, my vision is to expand support through additional counsellors and workshops for schools, teams, and families.
